How to organize an on-campus activity using RoboOrg funds
If you plan to host an activity on-campus like boardgames, movies, frisbee tournaments and would like to get sponsored snacks on RoboOrg, the process is relatively simple!
1. Propose it to the RoboCzars/RoboBankers (as long as the cost is <$200)
2. Publicize the event:
you must send an email to robotics-students@cmu.edu to allow signups and that the event will be sponsored by RoboOrg. Make sure to copy {Bankers/Czars} to this message so RoboOrg can be in the loop from here on out. Things you must mention in your email:
- “This event is sponsored by RoboOrg.”
- If needed, link a sign-up sheet in your email announcement where students can register to participate in your event.
3. Keep the receipt and give it to the bankers! If you do not keep the receipt, there will be consequences….
4. Take a photo of people participating!
